-Launch your ideas

An All Kerala Project Idea Competition designed to identify, promote and reward outstanding engineering talents across Kerala. Submit your exciting project ideas whether it is simple, innovative or realistic.

The two stage selection

Stage-1

The Application along with the project synopsis will be evaluated by a panel of technical experts formed by the organizing committee. The criteria for selection will be innovation, implementability, feasibility and cost effectiveness.

Stage-2

Selected applicants will give an oral presentation at MBCET campus, Trivandrum.

It is only a project idea competition. Implementation of this idea is not required for the competition.

Initial Proposal Checklist

The initial proposal should be a brief project summary .The proposal should demonstrate a good understanding of the root causes of the problem and existing opportunities and resources for solving it. Download the registration form here

Guidelines

For participating in the competition the applicants should satisfy the following rules.

1. Entrants can be individuals or teams up to 4 members.

2. Students from one or more semesters can form themselves into a  team.

3. The marks will be awarded as per the following criteria

1. Innovation-25%        2. Implementability-25%

3. Feasibility-25%         4. Cost effectiveness-25%

6. The winners will be decided by the judging panel. Judges decision will be final.

7. The teams will receive a written feedback on their proposals.

Review and Feedback Process

The Judging panel shall review all the initial proposals and provide constructive suggestions. The teams will receive a written feedback on their proposals.

The review and feedback process is designed to help teams to improve their project and produce a strong final proposal.
